More than forty years ago Ronald Reagan spoke to the nation encouraging Americans to consider Barry Goldwater for president. His speech, “A Time for Choosing”, is poignant and timeless. Any charismatic politician could give this exact speech today word for word and find it as applicable as when Reagan first articulated it nearly half a century ago.

His message was that Freedom is a precious and rare possession that few among mankind have been privy throughout history.
